I recently traveled to San Francisco for work and had the opportunity to visit the Quintal academy in San
Francisco. It was a great experience to meet other members of our capoeira family and train with them.

While the moves, class structure, and guiding philosophy were the same, simply training in a different space with different people gave me a slightly different perspective. Tucano was a great instructor, like all CAQ instructors, and his students were all friendly and welcoming.

While the San Francisco outpost of Capoeira Angola Quintal is new, I am sure great things will be coming from it.

June 3 – 9, 2013

Workshops:
Monday – Friday 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10pm
Saturday 10am – 6pm
Sunday 10am – 12pm

Events:
Sunday 1 – 2pm & 4 – 5pm: Open Rodas
Batizado: Sunday, June 9: 2 – 4pm
Graduation & Performance: 5 – 7pm

Fees
Whole week: $225 / $175 in advance (by May 1, 2013)
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: $150/$125 in advance
Saturday & Sunday: $125/$100 in advance
Saturday or Sunday all day, all workshops & t-shirt: $85/$75 in advance
Sunday: from 1pm on: $45 (at the door) / $40 in advance

Workshops: 60 minutes each: $20 for one, $10 each additional (same day)

In advance – before May 1, 2013
We accept payment plans for the entire week: $75 + $50 + $50
